Across the world, we are all facing challenging times and uncertainty due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. Our thoughts are with all who are affected, either directly or indirectly, as a result of the global pandemic.
As a business, we have undertaken various steps to ensure we are protecting our staff while minimising the disruption to our core business and services. All our staff are now working from home, in-line with the latest UK Government guidance and have been self-isolating since early March – as may have been required.
As an employer, we are proud that all of our staff have had the ability to remote work for many years and we already have the infrastructure in place for all staff members to work from home at full capacity; we do this already most evenings and weekends.
As our business is online and our services run out of UK data centres, our day-to-day operations, support and services remain un-impacted, and everything will continue to run as usual; remote working does not affect our business operations.
We will continue to provision services promptly and in full, including Virtual Private Servers and Dedicated Cloud services. We have plenty of data centre capacity, and brought forward planned hardware and capacity purchases to February 2020 in order to get hardware installed and to be able cope with an anticipated lockdown.
Our staff are central to everything that we do at Unlimited; the outstanding level of support we are renowned for depends on the ability of our highly skilled and committed customer-focused team. Should there be any expected impact to our support then we will let our customers know, but we don't expect this to be the case. We will, of course, continue to review our operations in line with the UK Government guidance.
