    If you are using our nameservers (ns0 and ns1.unlimited.uk.net) or if you are using custom nameservers based on ours, you do not need to take any action.

    If you have your DNS setup with a third party such as your domain provider (other than us) or CloudFlare you will need to update your DNS within their panel to the new IP of the server which will be: 149.255.58.117

    Below is a list of IP addresses which will be removed, along with the server it is currently assigned to, along with the IP address you may need to change your website to. Please read the following carefully.

    To check if you are on one of the IP addresses being removed, go to this URL: https://www.site24x7.com/find-ip-address-of-web-site.html and put in your domain name.

    • If you use our nameservers (ns0.unlimited.uk.net, ns1.unlimited.uk.net) or custom nameservers (149.255.60.1, 149.255.60.9), you DO NOT need to take any action.

    It is likely that users will be unable to collect mail due to saturation of the mail services on the machine.

    We are attempting to impliment a workaround, but please appreciate that the problem is external and there is no "fault" as such to easily fix.

    The work will take around 5 hours but downtime during this period will be minimal. You may for a short time towards the end of the work see a default plesk page instead of your website. This is a normal part of the work and is not anything to worry about.

    **UPDATE - 30th Oct - PHP was upgraded successfully but the plesk upgrade had to be rolled back. This has been rescheduled for Friday 1st at 9pm

    Our platform upgrades will introduce Plesk 11.5 on your shared hosting / reseller account, upgrading from the current Plesk 9.5 release which is fast approaching end of life.

    Our upgrades will introduce better security and account management controls along with the new Web Presence Builder as standard. Several outstanding bugs within the Plesk 9.5 platform will also be corrected including the ability to extract ZIP files into your hosting and manage ZIP archives from within your Plesk interface along with several fixes to web stats and upgrades / improvements to our webmail platform (HORDE & ATMAIL)

    If you have designed your website using the older Site Builder platform, don’t worry, Web Presence Builder will simply migrate your existing site into the new platform allowing for a whole host a new features / designs.

DDOS Attack against cloud17 (Resolved)

    Cloud17 has been under DDOS for approximately 1 hour. The server and network are coping with the attack but you may see some very intermittent packet loss to this IP on this server only. This is a surge of traffic only, not a hack and there is no risk to your data or website contents.

    All other servers and services are completely unaffected by this issue.

    We will update this regularly as the system develops

    Please contact us via ticket if you are having issues, we maybe able to move you to an unaffected IP adress

    **UPDATE 18:52 - The attack is still ongoing. As mentioned in the above update, its only affecting one IP address on the server so please contact us if you wish to be moved to another IP

    ** UPDATE ** - 10:17AM - Post upgrade we have isolated several issues with the Plesk install as such, we are now rolling this back. We aim to restore full service ASAP.

    ** FINAL UPDATE ** We have now rolled back our Plesk upgrade full service has now been restored, we will review the logs from the upgrade with Plesk support today and look to re-release this evening. 

    ** UPDATE ** - 21:27 PM - We have now isolated the earlier uipgrade issues and are in the process of re-upgrading, as such, we will ensure to keep any downtime to a minimum.
