Further capacity added to hosting cluster & Plesk upgrades
We at Unlimited Web Hosting have again been very busy working on future proofing our platform.
As our migration to our new cloud platform is now nearing an end, we have further increased the capacity of our cluster with additional hardware nodes to ensure we stay ahead of the curve keeping our hosting performing the way it should.
At the same time, we are upgrading all remaining shared hosting servers to the latest Plesk version 11 which also includes Web Presence Builder the latest in one click web site creation.
We take security and features very seriously. Plesk 9.5 is currently approaching end of life with some aging features, the upgrades we are working on will ensure that moving forward our features are cutting edge and security is optimal.
April 23, 2013Our new hosting platform and what we have been doing for the last few months…
You may have noticed we have been very quiet recently on our blog and updates to our website. We haven’t gone anywhere we have been very busy completely replacing our entire infrastructure.
Our existing hosting platform was getting towards end of life and in order to future proof our hosting we have invested heavily in rebuilding our platform from the ground up. The new cloud platform is VMware based backed by much more powerful servers and fibre based SAN storage. We have also invested heavily in our network to make it more resilient and stable. This work is nearing completion now but most of our existing customers should already be feeling the benefits of improved speeds and reliability.
We have a number of new products that will be ready to launch in the coming months that we will be announcing on here so that we can leverage our new facilities. Watch this space..
