With shared hosting, your website shares the same server resources as other customers' sites, which keeps the cost low. Each of our plans has its own CPU and memory allocation, which limits how much one busy site can affect the others.

Every plan includes the cPanel control panel. You use it to manage your files and email accounts, and to install apps such as WordPress in a few clicks.

Our shared web hosting costs £2.99 a month for Solo, £3.99 for Standard and £7.99 for Premium when you pay monthly. On a 1-year term, Solo works out at £2.09 a month.

Pay for a year and your first year of a .uk or .co.uk domain name is free. Every plan includes free SSL certificates and daily backups, and we migrate your existing site free, so there is nothing extra to buy to get a site online. If you outgrow shared hosting, VPS hosting starts at £9.99 a month.

Shared hosting is the cheapest way to host a website on your own domain name. Our Solo plan is £2.09 a month on a 1-year term and covers one website with 10GB of SSD webspace and a free .uk or .co.uk domain for the first year.

If you plan to run more than one website, Standard and Premium let you host several sites from one account, which costs less than a separate plan for each.

Free hosting has to be paid for some other way. That can mean adverts on your site and tight limits on storage and traffic. Your web address may sit on the provider's own domain instead of yours.
