In order to generate a CSR in Cpanel, follow the steps below

1) Log into your cpanel control panel
2) Under security, click SSL/TLS
3) Click Certicate Signing Requests 'Generate, view, or delete SSL certificate signing requests'
4) Enter your domain name **if using the basic cert, make sure to enter your domain with the www prefix to ensure the cert covers both the www and non-www version of your site.
5) Enter the requested information i.e State, Location, Organisation name, Domain name.
6) Enter the requested information i.e State, Location, Organisation name, Domain name.
7) Click generate

The CSR is now generated

You should see something like the below, this is your CSR to provide to your SSL Vendor
